Everyone wants to share the joy of a new born baby's arrival. And the first question that normally arises in everyone's mind is what the birth weight and size of the baby is, and what will be its name. Older Siblings 

If the baby has some older siblings then they will benefit by receiving some wonderful passed down items. The baby will, however, appreciate something personalised like an embroidered towel, or a pewter mug with engravings on it.

If you buy something of which you are not sure whether it will fit the baby or not, then you can also include the receipt for it so that it can be exchanged on a later date. This is a welcome and appreciated gesture. 

Noise Making Toys 

If you are buying toys for the baby with music, then buy something that is pleasant to listen to. Ensure that the sound is not dangerously loud for the new born. 

Look for Originality Do not just walk through the piles. Look for something that is unique and different and stands out from the crowd.
